Certified Commissioning Can Extend Your VFD Warranty
Having a qualifying new VFD commissioned by Folcroft’s certified drive technicians can provide customers with valuable manufacturer warranty extensions. Subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty program requirements, certified commissioning can provide an additional one year of warranty coverage on qualifying Yaskawa and Eaton drives and an additional two years of warranty coverage on qualifying LS Electric drives.
In addition to the extended warranty benefit, professional commissioning helps verify motor data, drive parameters, control setup, application settings and proper system operation at startup. This can help identify installation or application issues before they lead to nuisance faults, equipment problems or unplanned downtime.

Providing the drive manufacturer, complete model number, motor nameplate information, fault history and application details helps IPS prepare for the visit and identify likely requirements.
